Today, sites like Reddit, Wikipedia, and even Google have been 'blacking out'. Why, you may or may not ask? The minds behind these sites are protesting against bills that could shatter the Internet. The SOPA ('Stop Online Piracy Act), and the PIPA ('Protect I P Act'). Upon hearing the acronyms for the first time, one might think the idea sounds pretty good. Stopping pirates, (Arghh!) protecting IPs. Well, they went a bit too far.
Many articles online are buzzing with supporters all saying the same thing. This act could damage the Internet with its censoring, threatening sites like YouTube, for example. Reminds me a bit of Dolores Umbridge's 'Educational Decrees'. But, you know, no one in Congress is currently sporting gaudy pink cardigans.

Ughh, I spent forever trying to get the stupid pictures at the bottom, and since I deleted the Reddit and Minecraft ones and reposted them several times, they don;t have links. That's all over, though, now. But still. XD
